This space holds text only when I am thinking about dwarves.

I snagged this pic today from one of the traffic cams available on a local news web site. This is the freeway exit nearest our house. Note the sunshine. You'll have to take my word on the warm part.

The pic below was also grabbed off a traffic cam this morning, but from a Grand Rapids, MI news site, the place we used to call home. Can you see the cold?

Why did I snag these two images? Because my beloved Michigan peeps need to see what December looks and feels like in Arizona, and my Arizona friends need to understand the strength and courage it takes to live in Michigan.

For those of you who are actually doing Christmas shopping this year, we are here to help!
First, a word to the wise:
Staying Out of the Dog House

Technology has given us some amazing things, like a shirt especially for the drummer in your family:
Drum Kit Shirt
Note: probably inappropriate if the drummer in your family is also your daughter.

And if water sports are part of your family's recreation you'll want to pick up one of these:
Water Scooter
Think of it as a jet ski for the greenies.

"101 Cars You Must Drive" on SPEEDTV. Fun show.

O.J. is going to jail, probably for more than a decade. If you watched his statement at sentencing today you saw he was a pretty pathetic figure. A long way from the cocky, arrogant version from a year ago. Justice has a way of cutting someone down to size.

I spent half of today in bed trying to sleep off whatever bug it is that's been sneaking up on me for the last three days. That means I've just exhausted my excess thoughts for the day. Trust me, the other thoughts weren't much better.

G'night.

I really, really miss that snowy MI weather. The people here in WA think they have it so great with their temperate climate, but the truth is it's boring and wet and cold. My feeling is as long as it's going to be cold anyway it might as well be pretty.
