Don't squat with your spurs on.

Lookin' extra fly!

I didn't post last night 'cause we were out late partying.
OK, it wasn't late and we weren't partying, but when we got home I was too tired to post, and getting a night's sleep is a priority on Saturday nights.

Our friends Rob & Leslie are visiting us from freezing cold Michigan. This sunny, 70 degree weather makes a lot of sense when back home the temp has "...teen" at the end.

We've been driving all over the north half of the valley looking at the different housing options available. There's tremendous variety in topography, from the foothills of Cave Creek to the flats of Goodyear. You can live in a dense subdivision with 10 feet between you and your neighbor's house, or on 2 acres in the shadow of the White Tank Mountains. Want 3,000 square feet or 1,500? Built last year or in 1980? And of course you can find something in almost any price range from $79,000 (a house built 3 years ago) to homes that end with the word "million."

Rob has his 30 years in with the county back in Michigan and can retire anytime he wants and they both like sun and heat. We got plenty of both! So we'll see what comes next.

This morning in Foundations we talked about the means of salvation. Was it different in the Old Testament? What is the absolute minimum required to be saved? Do our actions have anything to do with it? Were actions relevant for people in the OT?
No question in the universe is more important than the one the jailer at Philippi asked Paul: "What do I have to do to be saved?"

I think there's more in my brain but this late on a Sunday night I can't find it. And it's probably dangerous even to go looking. I promise to be back in normal mode tomorrow night.
