I've designated this "archive week." Pics from history. These guys did not get paid enough!
My brain is fried.
We had a leisurely breakfast with Rob & Leslie and talked real estate, church and economics. Pretty much got all the world's problems solved except for the pesky little border skirmish between Latvia and Lithuania. We got it all done before my coffee was cold and they left about 11.
After lunch I went into town for a meeting at the Wigwam with their bean counter. More on that at another time. From there to the clinic to make a repair. Before they moved into the clinic I fabricated and installed an anchor up in the rafters that holds a swing they use in the treatment of some pediatric conditions. The two braces rubbed against each other until one of them broke so I'm reconfiguring the system so they don't touch. Unfortunately, I forgot to take my drill and reamer with me, so I'll be back there tomorrow to finish up.
Before the coffee klatch with the Burch's, between that and the trip into town and both before and after dinner I've been researching all things related to creating a web site. HTML, CSS, Favicons, RSS feeds and Sea Monkeys. Oh my.
I have read reviews of a dozen software programs, downloaded and then deleted some (Sea Monkeys aren't any better as software than they were as pets), written some very basic HTML (that didn't work like it was supposed to), looked at a dozen examples of sites created using various programs and packed my brain with a lot more data than understanding. I have a time line for this learning curve and tonight I'm getting a little worried about getting it done.
Feb. 2 is Groundhog Day. PETA wants Punxsuntawney Phil replaced by a robot because he's traumatized by being held out before the crowd.
Feb. is, of course, Black History month. But don't stop there! It's also Canned Fruit Month, National Grapefruit Month and National Children's Dental Health Month.
You need to prepare yourself for the 7th. Begin now; don't get caught unprepared and out of condition. Next Thursday is Wave All Your Fingers At Your Neighbor Day.
Colts by 10.
Tomorrow is Tuesday, which makes it curriculum day. If I need a break I'll go get the MDF for the drawer fronts.
G'night.
