I think one of the keys to life is concentrating on what's in front of you (me). To the extent I allow other issues to distract me from the task at hand my performance of that task is compromised. And it's not like my divided concentration accomplishes anything productive for that second (or third) agenda item. So focus on the job to be done, giving it my full attention and very best effort and then come back to the other items when it's time. They'll be right there waiting for me.
Why is that so easy to write and so hard to do?
