If Picasso had designed a car(can you ID this car?)
Scientists have determined those 5,000 birds died of trauma.
Ya think??
Here's an interesting article about an orthodox Jew at odds with religious divorce law.
He won't give a get.
Having DirectTV has led to my discovery of "Top Gear." It comes in two versions, the British original (BBC) and the U.S. version (The History Channel). No comparison! The Brits are very funny, do great auto-themed skits and feature unbelievable European cars that cost a lifetime's wages. The punks who do the U.S. version are lame. Unfortunately, it seems the BBC version is ending. The episode I just watched mentioned it as the last one. But I taped it from earlier this afternoon so it might have ended a long time ago and all of them are reruns. Or, it was the last episode of the season. Hope so. Great show!
I taped it from my laptop. I called up the schedule on the DirectTV website, found Top Gear on the BBC channel and clicked on the button to record it. I got an email a moment later that said I had successfully scheduled my DVR to record the show. Unfortunately it gave me the same email for taping "Pardon the Interruption" which did not actually record. Huh??

Worked on my sermon today. Sometimes the challenge is to make a complex truth readily understandable. Other times it's to make a readily understandable truth freshly relevant.
The registration form for the VW came in today's mail. The tabs for next year will cost me $45.19. But I'll have to get a smog certificate, at a cost of $17. It passed without problems last year so I'm cautiously optimistic, but it has to meet the same standards as a current model car. If it was one year older, a '66, it would be exempt. I have no idea why they settled on 1967 as the year when all vehicles have to pass the emissions test. Most states set an age - say 25 years old. If your car is older than that it's exempt. But AZ says all cars made in '67 or later have to be checked every year.
Working at a small job tomorrow, a pocket door that's not working. I'll remove the molding and then the door. I expect to find the rear wheel has come off the door and is laying on the floor in the back of the pocket. If I can reinstall it, get the door back on the track and reinstall the molding I'll consider it a total success.
