They had planned a very artistic, sensitive photo. Alas....I started at 5 a.m. working on song slides. From there to a special Foundations project and then on to sermon work.
I learned how to use "Magic Move" in Keynote. Very cool! And I just created text slides. Can't wait until I've got graphics to play with.
I took breaks every hour or so to go fishing. Those little mosquito fish are elusive prey. I caught six of ten that now reside in a Home Depot bucket. Four more to catch, but they'll have to wait until tomorrow.
This afternoon I went for a bike ride. Did 24 miles at an average speed of 18.6 mph. I don't think I've ever had an average speed that high - certainly not for anything close to that distance. And that explains why I'm sitting in my recliner barely able to move anything but my fingertips, and they're failing fast.
Does higher speed translate into greater distance if I back off the pace? That is, last Saturday I did 32 miles at 17.2 mph. Given today's ride, if I backed my pace off to, say, 16.5 mph could I do 45 miles - more than should be expected at this point in my spring regimen?

Another dirty Phoenix cop. The press reported yesterday that he's been indicted for taking Oxycontin from the evidence locker and replacing them with some over-the-counter lookalike.
Forbes released a list of the 10 most economical cars. They factored in original cost, depreciation, mpg and maintenance costs. I went through a slide show of the 10 cars on their website and dozed off at number six. Weenie cars! If it's not possible to build an economical car with even a small degree of excitement I'm willing to spend the extra money.
If I had it.
In the meantime I'll fly around Sun City in a '67 VW.
Heavy sigh.
