Life is hard. It's even harder if you're stupid.

I did a plumbing job this morning. I would rather do ten electrical jobs than one plumbing.
Some kitchen faucets have a sprayer off to the side and with some it pulls right out of the main spout. This was one of those, and the sprayer hose had developed a leak at a point about 2" inside the spout when fully retracted. That meant that when they turned on the water it leaked out the sprayer hose and ran down inside the spout, exiting in a HUGE puddle under the sink.

No-name faucet, so an hour and three plumbing supply stores later I found a replacement hose that then required some creative work to make fit.
Part of the frustration is laying on my back under a sink where it's dark and my bifocals conspire to put everything out of focus no matter how I tilt my head.

We have now had 31 straight days with a high over 110 with no end in sight. This has been the hottest August on record and the overnight lows have also set records as the hottest.

I've been doing this exercise routine Josh created for me for about 10 days now and I'm still feeling the pain. Isn't it time for the routine to get easier? Or have I reached that point when the body just isn't going to respond like it used to? Everything I've read says you lose muscle mass as you age so maybe, given that the word "mass" never really did apply to me anyway, this is the new reality.
It would be really sad if I have to start cutting back on eating.

It's a little after 9 p.m. (i.e. very near my bedtime) and I just got home from a meeting. What's above the line was written before I left. Anything written below the line won't make sense, or worse.
I'll be back tomorrow night with a better effort. Promise.
