"I read part of it all the way through." - Samuel Goldwyn
Today was Monday, which means I did almost nothing of significance and did it at half speed. This morning I drove down to Joe's to get the repaired and repainted rear deck lid. After lunch I spent almost three hours installing it, working to get the alignment right. Knuckle smasher. It's not perfect, but it's a lot better than it was before the repair. Tomorrow I'll do some touch-up painting where the lid used to rub against the body.
I also installed the personalized plates that came last Saturday. This was Steve's idea and dates back to the '67 I owned three years ago. I like it, and I'm curious to see how many people get it.
We went to Chili's for dinner tonight. Somebody at church gave us gift cards and the timing was perfect. It's the last dinner we'll have together until next year. We'll have Christmas dinner with the kids and Pam works every day other than that between now and the end of the week. Saturday morning she leaves for MI to visit her mom and doesn't get back until close to midnight on New Year's Day. She has to get up the next morning and go to work, all jet-lagged. So it was nice to sit in a nearly empty restaurant (we went fairly early) and leisurely talk and eat too much good food (almost all paleo).
A friend on Facebook this morning was talking about the breakfast menu for their Christmas celebration: bacon and cinnamon rolls. Sounds pretty good to me. But in a comment on that post somebody took it to the next level:
Cook up the bacon to just this side of crispy, unroll the cinnamon rolls and re-roll them with the bacon strips inside. Then warm in the microwave.
Bang!!
I told Pam, I think we've been taking this paleo thing too seriously. And if she's going to leave me alone for five days I may have to give this one a try.

Love the plate, I not only took that in college but the aquatic variety as well.
+1 on the v-plate, Glad no one in AZ had claimed it yet.
I'm glad that plate was available for you, too. It's perfect!
You'll have to get ORNTHLGY for the Falcon.
