Sunday's sermon and lesson are done but both need plenty of polishing. And I need to put together a kids' time.

I got an email today with information about teaching those online classes. It requested that I send a "CV, which is like a resume, but longer."
What??
If someone receiving that didn't know what a CV was they should get the whole term, not just the abbreviation. If they do know, the explanation is unnecessary. And what does "but longer" mean, anyway? Should I put it on 8 1/2 x 14 paper? Add extra words?

Now that Pam's working five 8's our routine has changed from dinner out Friday evenings to Thursday. Tonight we stopped again at Carumba's, a local business with four or five restaurants in the metro area. Very casual Mexican that can be done paleo very easily.

Tonight, shortly after we sat down to eat she dropped the bombshell.
"I really want a dog."
