"If it weren't for Philo T. Farnsworth, inventor of television, we'd still be eating frozen radio dinners." - Johnny Carson

We've been watching the PBS (British) "Sherlock Holmes" on Masterpiece Mystery. Very different from the CBS version. I like them both.

I replaced a kitchen faucet in a rental house this afternoon.
Again, NEVER buy a Moen faucet. If you have one pray that it never leaks or breaks. If it does don't bother with repair. Replace.
The cartridge with new O-rings and cartridge has to be ordered directly from Moen, can take up to two weeks to get here, and requires a special tool for the switch. So with the owner's approval I bought a new Delta for less money than the Moen repair kit, a Delta with a lifetime warranty.

I drove the VW up to Starbucks to work on my CV, hoping that some caffeine would help. (It didn't.) When I came out there was a note on the windshield. "IF THIS IS FOR SALE please call me..."
I did, we talked, and he's at the top of what I expect to be a list. He's a VW guy, has his wife's approval to buy a completed car, and thinks my price is very fair - even though I inflated it to test the waters. He belongs to a VW club and said that if he's found a finished car when I'm ready to sell he's sure other guys in his club would be interested. He went on some about the quality of my car and apologized for touching it, which I think means he opened the engine lid.
Interesting.

I'm thinking about my next project. Doing some research, putting out some feelers. Don't know if it will happen, but I think I'll know enough to identify a good deal if I come across it.

I'm working this schedule Josh gave me to significantly increase the number of pull ups I can do. That, plus today's regular workout (it included 63 burpees), plus climbing around under a sink has me ready for bed. So with apologies for a particularly short post...
good night.
