"I have more trouble with myself than with any other man." - D.L. Moody

Coolest thing I've seen in a long time! I could do this.

I'm working on the penultimate assignment for this class. I will have everything done by this time tomorrow night, no matter what it takes! Then we wait to see if I passed.

The last of the body work courses I signed up for is tonight. There are more in the series I want to take but I think I'll wait until I'm closer to painting the truck so I don't forget everything I've learned. And I've learned a TON. Spencer is correct: this isn't rocket surgery. The guys like him who have done it for years at a very high level have skills I'll never possess, but he says we can do a very respectable job that will impress and only be distinguishable from a pro job if a pro examines it. So far he's believable, based on what he's had us do. Tonight we wet sand, color, color sand, and clear coat. My object is a motorcycle tank, given to me because it involves compound curves.

My sermon for Sunday is one of those that has less to do with the exegesis of significant Greek words and more to do with a practical, personal connection with a fairly basic line of thought. That's a sermon right up some guys' alley, but not mine. Lots of cogitating to do between now and then.

Pam sent me a text today that the Banner Health System computers (her hospital is part of that corporation) went down...in a three state area. Gone. Dead. Nothing. That was about 1:00, and I haven't heard if they're back. If not she's been doing paperwork by hand for about four hours. I asked if patient care was compromised and she said no. Should get the full scoop when I get home from class tonight.

It will be a little after 9 by then, past my bedtime. Now, it's time for me to hit the road, because traffic can be pretty thick this time of the evening.
Tomorrow night all will be back to normal, including this blog.
