"Nature is a good name for an effect whose cause is God." - William Cowper

We got the Kia back. The good news: $213.00. The bad news: they don't know what the problem was or if it's fixed.
When I got in it this morning to drive over to the dealer it ran fine. That suggests an electrical problem within the tranny, like a servo or.... They did the standard tranny service, with a fluid flush, new filter, yada, yada. If the problem happens again "you should bring it back and we'll try something else."
Now there's a confidence booster.

My goal is to gain two pounds this week. Started it off with b'fast one, and a couple of hours later had b'fast two. Lunch, dinner one, and dinner two (though it could be considered more of an appendix than a separate meal). Pam made some paleo brownies and I know where the forks are.

With this orientation course and its assignments I'm trying to front load my week, getting as much done as early as possible. This week we're supposed to work in groups of four on a project, and because we're spread all over the country the collaboration will all be virtual. Curious to see how this works.
My preference would always be to work solo.

This Sunday our adult class will begin a new unit on the Christian and civil government. If it generates the discussions this last unit on issues related to reproduction did, this should be fun.

But now I'm going to do some of the reading this course has waiting for me.
