In his comments after the Supreme Court's ruling legalizing gay marriage in all 50 states the President urged understanding and tolerance for those who find that outcome deeply troubling, morally offensive. Then, after a stop in S.C. for the funeral, he went home and had the outside of the White House lit up in rainbow colors.
That's not his house; it's my house. And as one of those deeply disappointed by the Supreme's decision I'm angered by his in-your-face celebration of the ruling. I accept the outcome as the new law of the land, but find his insensitivity intentionally inflammatory.

I had to run to Home Depot to get the shoe molding so planned that trip to coincide with lunch. Part of Pam's absence is doing all my own food prep, NOT my favorite thing in the world.

That skipped bike ride had me feeling guilty until I realized that for the first time in about four decades I can go on a ride before church.
