"We've had bad luck with our kids - they've all grown up." - Christopher Morley

This will be a really short post. My first flight is at 9:30 tomorrow morning but we may have to leave the house about 4 a.m. If Pam gets called off there's no problem, but if not she has to be there a little before 7:00. By the time we drive to the airport and she goes from there to the hospital....
So I either have some time in the morning or I don't, and we won't know until about 5 a.m. when they're supposed to make the "don't come in" call.

I'm 90% packed but I just ran out of steam. It's been a crazy day.
I left the house about 6:45, shortly after Pam left for work, to meet my dear daughter Aubri for coffee. That worked well because I had to be out of the house for the NINE realtor showings scheduled between 8:30 and 1:00. The second wave was supposed to be the three coming through beginning at 6:00. At 3:15 our realtor called and asked if a 3:30 showing was possible. Then a 5:30 was added. By the time the day was done we had 13 showings. Two more are on tap for tomorrow with the likelihood that more will be added.

In between all of that was the packing, printing, and getting things done in preparation for my 12-day absence. Pam will hold down the fort, keep the place ready for showings, and take a break from feeding the bottomless pit that has been her husband of late.

Agents have been told to have offers submitted for review on Thursday. By then I will have settled in Costa Rica. Pam & I can discuss things over the phone (cell phone wonders) and hopefully accept a higher-than-list offer, and we're hoping it will be a cash offer.

I'm not very good at taking pictures but I'm hoping to do a good job so I have documentation of this wonderful experience.
I started out with a selfie:
And then one of me (almost) ready to go:
Now it's time for a short sleep so I can get up early to finish the last little bit of packing and be on my way...to Costa Rica!!
