"Trouble shared is trouble halved." - Lee Iaccoca

The offices are closed on Friday, something I'm still adjusting to since I always took Monday off. I think that helps explain why I sent Saturday's email to my Sunday morning class when I got up this morning. Carly caught the error, sent me an email, and I quickly responded with Friday's message. The good news: I already have that item checked off tomorrow's to-do list.

I went into town for a cup of Starbucks and work on my Tuesday night class for about an hour and then went to get a long overdue haircut. I walked out of SuperCuts after waiting for about 40 minutes and went around the corner to ... the other big chain. Can't think of the name now.
I'm still waiting for GQ to call me to do that cover shoot and until they do I'm not worried to much about getting coiffed. "Lipstick on a pig" comes to mind.

While I was waiting I got a message from Brett asking if I'd preach for him next Sunday.
"Yes."
And do the bit at the prison up in Salem that night.
"Yes."
So next Sunday I'll do my class at 8:30, preach, and then spend 4 hours doing the OSP gig. Monday's going to be...special.

I don't know what I'll preach. It's Memorial Day weekend so numbers will be down - not that it makes any difference.
I'll troll my archive folder to see if anything jumps out at me. If I find something that resonates it would reduce the amount of prep, and that seems like a good thing.
Pray through.

Three more sleeps and Pam comes home.

Started this post early in the day, then got busy with tasks, and never came back to it. It's now 3:30 a.m. Saturday and I'm going to hit publish. I'll do another post later today and bring you up to date on some happenings here.
Try to wait patiently.
