Eat a live toad the first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.
I am not capable of linear thinking on a Sunday night, so you'll search in vain for any common thread here.
We're enjoying the current Masterpiece Mystery! series on PBS. It's British, and they've got those crazy accents, but the episodes are interesting in that British underplayed way. Sundays at 8 p.m. here.
I downloaded Grisham's "The Partner" to my Kindle and started it this afternoon. You almost can't go wrong with a Grisham novel if all you're looking for is an easy, engaging story.
Louise's brake lights work! And I don't think I'll need Pam's help with bleeding. I have a device called a MightyVac that creates suction at the bleeder valves and I think it did the trick. Which means that tomorrow morning I'll take it for another test drive, hopefully for more than a block or two this time. Maybe all the way over to the gas station. And if that goes OK, off to the Motor Vehicles Dept. Tuesday morning.
Maria Sharapova is as fierce and focused competitor as any athlete out there, male or female. Scary.
Am I the only one who thinks it's crazy to already be advertising network premiers that don't start until the last week of this month? See: "jump the shark."
I'm curious to see what kind of online coverage the DNC gets. Will it match in nature and tone the coverage they gave to the RNC? On the NBC TV news tonight they ran down a list of the celebrity names appearing at the DNC, for whatever that says about things.
A Maserati SUV
The answer to a question nobody was asking.
For every 100 people who complain and whine about how hard their life is, there's one person who really does have a hard life but who sucks it up, takes the high road, and does it all with quiet grace.
OK, maybe one in a thousand.
Maybe they're crazy for hanging in there, but they school me.
