I have CDO. It's like OCD except all the letters are in alphabetical order like they should be.

John McAfee, hiding from authorities in Belize says he's not crazy. Well that settles that. 'cause crazy people all acknowledge they're loony.

I don't usually use my iPod on bike rides for safety reasons but decided that because today's route didn't involve a lot of high traffic roads I'd take some tunes with me. I have a playlist titled "cycling" that's all up-tempo contemporary music, mostly rock from the 70's and 80's.
Yikes! Got home after 19 miles and had an average speed of 17.5 mph. That's as fast as I've ever done that route by almost half a mph, so I guess pumping music into my ears works. But I'm feeling it tonight.

Good news, bad news. I finally figured out the problem with the Rambler. I went up the hill for a haircut and, sure enough, it wouldn't start afterward, about 20 minutes later. I was prepared, though, and used the opportunity to sit there in the parking lot and do some diagnostics. Found the problem.
The bad news: it's the fuel pump. I'm not sure why it won't work in that window between about 15 minutes and an hour after stopping, but works fine when first started in the garage or if left sitting long enough to cool down. But I could see no gas was entering the fuel filter. None, nada.

I have options, including getting a replacement, but that's pricey. Another option is replacing this mechanical pump with a universal electric unit for about half the price. The problem with that solution is that this fuel pump also serves as a vacuum pump to operate the windshield wipers (yes, they're vacuum operated, not electric). That vacuum half of the pump is working fine, so I'm trying to learn if I can leave it in place and just re-route the fuel line through an electric pump.

The World Bank just issued a report warning of dire consequences from global warming caused by green house gasses.
Anybody else see something odd about a bank warning about environmental issues? Aren't they supposed to work on money stuff?

I know I should have more to put in a post, especially since I didn't post last night. But mostly Monday is my brain's day off. Tomorrow will be busy and includes a lunch meeting downtown, so maybe I'll have interesting stuff for tomorrow night's post. What I have now is
HUNGRY!!!
Time for more food.

Don't think of The World Bank as a traditional bank. Instead, its mission is to reduce poverty and support development. It focuses "on the poorest countries, fragile and conflict-affected states, the Arab world, middle-income countries, global public goods issues, and delivery of knowledge and learning services." It has a long-standing reputation for addressing global, environmental, political, economic and health issues that impacts, for good or bad, the development of target countries and those countries that help in their improvement.
