Yet despite the look on my face you're still talking.
It doesn't feel like Thanksgiving at our house. We did stuff around the house and met Steve & Michelle at CoCo's for a Thanksgiving meal. But then Pam had to go to work - her shift started at 1:00 - and I came home to work on the Rambler. I'd come inside to check the football games and hear announcers talking about turkey and commercials talking about sales...and it all seemed weird.
Tomorrow evening we'll do our Thanksgiving and it will still seem weird - because there won't be any football on TV.
I worked at installing the electric fuel pump but didn't get that job done. I decided to read the instructions and learned they're better at pushing than pulling, so it needs to be mounted near the tank. The directions also said, "Do NOT mount in the engine compartment." Alrighty, then.
I decided the best spot was under the rear seat and cut into the line at that point. But in order to bolt the pump in place I need a helper to hold the nut inside the car while I install the bolt from underneath. So I'll press Pam into service tomorrow morning for that 5 minutes of assistance.
Michelle is at that perfect point in her pregnancy where she looks "with child" but not so big that she's obviously uncomfortable and struggling. She'll get there, soon. The baby is due Jan 11. But right now she's the epitome of the beautiful pregnant woman.
Three football games involving teams I'm not particularly interested in, but one can only take so many NCIS reruns.
If you could see my fantasy team it would remind you a lot of the Jets. My opponent this week had Tony Romo as his QB and Romo had a career day.
Heavy sigh.
Pam will be home any minute. She'll be busy in the kitchen all day tomorrow but we'll eat like royalty tomorrow night. But as good as the food will be the best part will be - as it always is - being together as a family.
Blessed.

Why do you need a helper to hold you inside the car? Kidding aside, is there a reason you can't instal the bolt from the top side? There've been times I've not had help and used duct tape to hold a bolt in place while I gently started threading the nut. Then I grab an adjustable wrench of the size I can wedge against a nearby piece and attach it to either end and tighten the other with a socket wrench. FWIW oh, and there'll be plenty of college football on TV on Friday,
