"A good listener is not only popular everywhere, but after a while he gets to know something." - Wilson Mizner

His first word was "Oh"

This article in today's online edition of USAToday is remarkable, IMO. It very clearly points out the President's dishonesty re. the just passed fiscal cliff bill. And significantly, it got categorized as "news," not "opinion."
The question remains, will he suffer any backlash when paychecks show up over the next month or two and people realize their reality doesn't match his promises. If I were the RNC I'd find a way to get this article spread all over the place.

The good news: based on that article our increased tax liability will be about half of what I said in last night's post. But we'll let Tom, the guy who does our taxes, figure that out.

Also in this morning's news: "Lance Armstrong might admit to doping."
C'mon, Lance, just go away. Please. After years of vehement denials and counter accusations any admission of guilt counts for nothing. They say you would make the admission in hopes of getting your lifetime ban on any competitions lifted. In other words, it would be as self serving as your denials.
You rolled the dice, you weighed your options, and you chose to lie and insist on your innocence. For years you convinced many of us you were clean. Now it's obvious you never were, and after having been played by your con we're not cutting you any slack. Disappear already.

Another headline from today's news:
"Tsunami warning after Alaska quake cancelled."
I didn't know you could cancel quakes.

This is brief and interesting.
The Middle East Problem
What do you think? Is he overly simplistic or spot on?

Still not liking the sermon. This game stinks so I think I'm going to put on a jacket (yes, even in Phoenix!) and take it for a walk.
