If you took all the veins from your body and laid them end to end you would die.

3-2-1-

The other day I stumbled across a site that lists the "Ten Greatest Breakup Songs." I knew most of them and listened to the other two or three on YouTube.
I like Johnny Cash. I have one of his albums on my iPod and know more than a little about his life and career. One of those ten breakup songs was "Delia's Gone" by Cash, and I couldn't pull that one out of my head. So it was off to YouTube for that one, too.
Uhm...
You can listen to it here. Short song that for some crazy reason doesn't start until the 20 second point of this official video, so be patient.
Rather dark, even for the man in black.

I replaced the two ceiling fixtures in the kitchen. The originals didn't put out much light and this time of year it makes a difference. I got a very similar fixture - CFL, of course. Just a basic flush-mount "mushroom" light. Once I had the first one installed I saw the problem. The new fixtures are 2" smaller in diameter which means there's a visible line where the old fixtures' glass met the ceiling. So now I have to paint the ceiling.
Sometime.

I saw a page with a photo so engaging that I did some digging and found it as part of a set
here.
My favorite is the dad kissing his daughter.
I wish I had the eye for photography.

And this is what happens when you don't torque down the head bolts.

I figured not much would happen over the holidays but earlier this week I started back to actively "marketing" the Rambler. I posted it on the Nash/Rambler/AMC site, the place where I originally located it. The ad was posted last night and I got my first inquiry this evening. I also have it on Craig's List but the Phoenix metro edition is so big that an hour after I post the car it's moved down to page four or five. Somebody would have to be using the search function to specifically look for a Rambler.

This may be the best week of the entire season for football. Great playoff games in the NFL and the BCS championship game Monday night. I confess to being torn about the Seattle/Washington game. I'd like to see the Seahawks win because it's my home town. But RGIII and the Redskins are sure a feel-good story, and he's a Baylor grad. We have a couple at Pathway who are Baylor alums.

I've had my sermon "done" for a couple of days but it's not sitting right. I think tomorrow morning calls for a trip to a coffee shop and time for rumination.
