We face limited possibilities:
- Trump wins the nomination by virtue of sufficient delegates going into the Republican convention. In a head-to-head with Hillary she wins.
- The Republicans have a contested convention and nominate someone other than Trump. In that case there's a GOP revolution, Trump becomes a third party candidate, and a hot mess ensues. In that case the GOP vote is split at least two ways, and Hillary wins.
Get used to saying President Clinton, again.
I was at the local U-Haul at 8 a.m., Lowe's at 8:45, and home by 10:30. By noon I had 15 sheets of drywall carried down to Fred and some treated 2x4's up to the garden. After lunch, with help from Pam, we got four sheets of drywall up on the ceiling in Fred. Normally I'd rent a lift, but it would have been more hassle that it was worth for a ceiling that small. (Though Pam might disagree.)
I discovered that the beams between which these sheets went are not square, parallel, or level. I'd hoped the sheets would fit tightly enough that I could just mud and paint, but I'll have to put in a cedar molding piece.
The skies were overcast all day but we didn't get any measurable rain. Tomorrow and Friday will be sunny, then the rain returns for the weekend. Veneta gets an average of 42" of rain per year, compared to Seattle's 36". But our rain falls more heavily during the winter months, meaning summers are dryer and sunnier.

Just like this time of year in Michigan we're eager to see that sun. Although waiting it out with rain is a whole lot better than doing the same while shoveling snow.
