"If I melt dry ice can I swim without getting wet?" - Stephen Wright

From a friend's Facebook page. Thanks BJ.

After posting last night I went to set up my things for this morning's shower. The plan was to head to the coffee shop after two days off and get back to the writing project. I bet over to get clean socks out of the lower drawer of the storage bed I made before we moved and my back instantly went into a very bad spasm. I ended up on the floor unable to get up. Twenty minutes later and with Pam's help I was back in my chair. I've been here ever since except for very slow, very cautious trips to the bathroom.

This morning I put a call into my dr. and ended up with a Rx for cyclobenzaprine. Never heard of it, but according to the internet it is the mostly commonly used and safest med for muscle spasms. She said I should also take Ibuprofen for the pain. I've only taken the first of "3x daily" so it's too early to tell if it's going to do the trick. I sure hope so because a) my back hurts a lot, b) those spasms are horrible, and c) I'm going crazy sitting in this chair. About 38% of patients on this drug experience drowsiness so I won't use the chainsaw just in case. But I gotta DO something.

You've probably read that the Obama administration has instructed all public schools to allow students to use whatever bathroom conforms to their sexual identity. At this point that mandate comes without any penalties, but the letter says nonconformity risks the loss of all federal educational funds.
Methinks this will be a boon to private schools and home schooling. It will also turn the Department of Education into a campaign issue and renew calls for its removal as a federal agency.

"Hello. My name is not Donald Trump and I'm calling your radio station to say what a total stud and great guy he is. I can tell you that."
Yeah. Right.

This is a short post, but you understand, right? My day hasn't exactly been action packed and I may be part of that 38%.
G'night.
