"You don't have to brush your teeth - just the ones you want to keep." - unknown
That quote up there seemed timely because I went to the dentist today.
Two months ago I had a crown come off and Brett, our pastor, recommended a dentist 20 minutes up the road in Junction City who also attends UFC. I got in the next day, he glued it back on, and I was both pleased and impressed.
I've had tooth aches - plural - the last couple of weeks so I made an appointment to find out what's going on. This afternoon I had a complete set of X-rays done and the news is...not good.
We don't have any dental insurance so he's going to help me triage the mess that is my mouth. One of them is so bad that he offered to let me pay a little at a time so he can fix it before the tooth is beyond saving.
Phooey.
Tomorrow's weather is predicted to be bad. They've already put the schools on a 2-hour delay and may cancel things completely. Starts about 6 a.m. with rain, then freezing rain, then snow, with roads icy and slippery.
We agreed tonight it's nice to have nowhere we have to be. We'll keep the wood stove going and work on projects that keep us inside.
This is a short post but the reason isn't worth the explanation. It's been a busy day and we've been all over town. So now it's time to watch our recorded episode of Fixer Upper accompanied by some of that freshly ground coffee and cookies. Then bed.
