"Love is being stupid together." - Paul Valery

It's Sunday night and I am exhausted, mind and body. I *think* it was a good day. This morning's efforts went better than the first week but not as well as last Sunday IMO. Tonight was fun. We're getting to know each other well enough that we can engage in some two-way banter which I enjoy. I also think it enhances the learning. Years ago I read a study that compared the results of an instruction time with and without the use of humor. The former was much higher.

Because I'm too tired I'm not going to try to put together a normal post.

Tomorrow Jeremy is picking me up at 7 a.m. We'll drive north to the town of Ronkonoma where we'll catch the train into NYC. I've been told the 9/11 memorial is a must-see, but I don't know what we'll do after that.

A major storm is rolling in tomorrow night and will fill Tuesday. The forecast online predicts 3-5" of snow tomorrow  night and another 1-3" Tuesday, with winds up to 40 mph. This will be the third major storm during my time here and, if it lives up to predictions, will be the worst.
I guess I'm getting the full Long Island experience.

OK, that's all I can muster for tonight. Watch this and be impressed.
