"Everyone enjoys doing the kind of work for which he is best suited." - Napoleon Hill

Thanks, Jen.

The coop was overdue for cleaning. Now the chickens and their keeper are happy. And the compost pile has a new supply of nitrogen.

And MoHo is this close to entirely painted. I ran out. Another quart and an hour on a ladder will get it done. The rain comes Wednesday and my schedule is pretty full M & T, so it will be close.

While I was painting this afternoon the classical music station ran their weekly program called The Spanish Hour that features music from Spain and other Spanish speaking countries. This week was the music of Juan Cristosomo, aka the Spanish Mozart because of the complexity and style of his music. I liked it. Interestingly, they were born on the same day, 50 years apart.
Cristosomo died at the age of 19. That's sad.

If you mention to your wife in the morning that you're thinking about going into town to get supplies, maybe at dinner time you ARE going into town for dinner.

Tomorrow will be a full and interesting day. I'll teach my class before the worship service and my plate is too full for that hour.
Thorough notes during the sermon so I can write good questions for the week's small group gatherings.
Lunch with Emily and Levy. Emily is the daughter of Marta, our goat mentor, and Levy (LEVee) is her husband of just over a year. Emily served as an agricultural missionary and met & married Levy while there. They're three months pregnant with their first.
Levy is shy and quiet, I think because he's not comfortable with his English - which is really just fine.
I've been thinking about Levy lately and that his circle of friends must be really small, almost exclusively Emily's family. That come together in my head with my responsibilities at UFC working in men's discipleship. I'm going to ask Levy if he'd be interested in meeting on a regular basis for conversation and discipleship. I won't be surprised (or disappointed) if he demurs but I'll make the offer and see where it goes.

In the evening there's a Thanksgiving-themed prayer and pie gathering at the church offices and I'll attend that. No, I'm not taking a pie because....

I'm going to take an apple pie into Benchmark Physical Therapy Monday as a token of my appreciation for their good work and an expression of the friendship I feel with that crew.

We're invited for Thanksgiving dinner at Beth & Nick's where there will be about 10 of us - friends and (Nick's) family. I'm taking a blueberry and apple pie. And I hope to get some cardamon toast baked to take into the church office Monday morning or maybe Tuesday.
So they'l have to come up with enough pie without my contribution

We're just home from town with a quart of paint and dinner at Carl's Jr.
I think I'm going to go bake some cardamon toast.
