"'Is there anything worn under the kilt?' No, it's all in perfect working order." - Spike Milligan

I only got one of the two windows installed. This one didn't go as smoothly and Pam told me she thought I shouldn't start the next one at 3:00 when I was already tired. "That's when accidents happen."
OK, I'll wait until tomorrow afternoon."
We're going into town for dinner and to pick up some molding to trim out these windows. I've put in six total with three more to go and the trim for just the outside of those six will run about $150 so I'll do half now and half later. The inside trim is a little cheaper but not much.

UFC does water baptisms three or four times a year and tomorrow after church is one of those times. Because we have church at Eugene South High School they do the baptisms at the church's office/meeting place about a mile away. Now that I'm staff I will attend. It doesn't feel in any way like a compromise or cheating. Brett makes it very clear what baptism isn't and I take a view similar to what Paul said about circumcision in 1 Cor. 7:19: "neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything." It's all good.

I spent time this morning cleaning up from the storms. I've got more to do but most of the branches are picked up. The rest will require the chainsaw. While I was at it I loaded a bunch of junk into the trailer for my next trip to the dump - scraps of fencing in a "I might have a use" pile, some scraps of pressure treated 2x4s, and some misc. junk from the garage. Maybe it's spring and warmer weather that allows me to be outside, but I've got the urge to clean up the place.

OK, we're back from town. Carl's Jr. (meh) and Home Depot because I like Behr paint. Depending on how the morning goes I may do the third window replacement in the afternoon, or cut and install trim on the windows already done, or sit in my chair and fall asleep.

The F1 season starts tomorrow with the Australian GP so there's that, too.

I like being with Pam. We laugh a lot. Not bad after 48 years.
