The USS Enterprise got stuck on a sand bar in San Fransisco Bay.
Note the positions of "All sailors on deck" to help get it free.
Pam changed my dressing earlier. I have eleven staples.
The anesthetic wore off about 11 p.m. last night. Guess how I know. But it's better now, just uncomfortable unless pressure is put on it somehow.
At tomorrow's staff meeting we'll pick a name for the adult ed classes that will run Tuesday nights in May. Some of the suggestions are too cute by half but some of them work, IMO.
I've been working hard on the course content so I'm more than prepared when class begins. I'll have a slide presentation that will be projected via Apple Play. I'll also have access to a tablet I can draw on and have it projected.
They'll get a handout on which they can take notes - blank spots for writing between headings.
I want to do anything and everything I can to make this successful so it continues when the fall schedule kicks in. (No classes over the summer months.)
I'm also baking goodies for each week. I'll do some of that ahead of time and freeze.
The weather is supposed to be dry between now and Sunday night with the exception of a few sprinkles on Friday. I'll be hustlin' chores every afternoon!
Poor Buddy. We were playing fetch yesterday and I threw the tennis ball down the hall. He spun around to chase it, lost his footing on the laminate floor, and slid into the corner of the wall. He's been limping ever since. His leg isn't tender or swollen so nothing is broken. It's better today but he's still favoring it.
He's such a good dog.
I got recruited today to lead the hymn sing on Sunday evening, May 5. Lew is our most excellent worship leader but he wasn't raised in church and doesn't know most hymns and certainly isn't comfortable with "audience choice."
So get the old guy to do it. He'll know every hymn in the book.
It's been a long day that started early and we're 30 minutes past my bedtime (it's 9:30).
More tomorrow night.
